Ok let's face it - we've all been guilty of sneaking spoonfuls of cookie dough to nosh on while we wait for our cookies to bake, right? No, just me?

Well if you're like me and you feel guilty about eating raw eggs, fear not! There's an edible cookie dough recipe out there to satisfy your craving AND keep you and the little ones safe.


You will need: 

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/8 cup water (more or less as needed)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, M&Ms, or other mix-ins

Directions: 

  1. Cream the butter and brown sugar together until smooth.
  2. Add the vanilla.
  3. Gradually add the flour until it is completely mixed.
  4. Add water to adjust the consistency of the dough.
  5. Fold in the mix-ins of choice.
  6. Enjoy!
